I am excited!  I have an amazing 3 days off!  I am planning 2 of them will be devoted to sphere making.  

I have lepidolite from San Diego that is currently having the corners removed.  This is the dark purple material that I have had in the past.  Am very excited to have had the opportunity to purchase more.

The large saw is cutting Thulite from the Ludlow area.  Our last time we went to this area the road had been washed out and was impassable so I was thrilled to have found a boulder in the Cady Mountain pile of rocks.  I am crossing my fingers that this rock is not too fractured and I can get some larger spheres from it.

For the sphere machines is more African Tigereye, Queen Creek Az Marble, a nice pastel material that takes a more matte finish, and Crinoid.If all goes well I might just get these finished.  

Yet to get round is Midnight Lace Obsidian and Rhodonite from Australia.  I have my work cut out for me.
