I am 90% packed to leave tomorrow for the West Coast Gem and Mineral Show.  All thats left is to tie down the back of the pickup truck and load the shelving, clothes and alcohol into the cab.  I just got too hot to keep going.

That allows me to work on rocks!  :-).   I have finally gotten the Indian Blanket sphere round.  I won't get it finished for this show, but am glad I am this far.  The Australian Crazy Lace is coming along, a slow grind.  There is the black and gold moss/plume Mexican material.  This is another one that seems like its been hogging a machine for a long time.  Finally there is a smaller Argentinian Fluorite sphere grinding.

The saws have been very busy too.  I have slabbed and cubed some Australian Dragon Stone rock.  One cube is currently having the corners removed.  There is another Plasma Agate having the corners remove.  I have been slabbing Namibia Sodalite.  This was a massive boulder that should give me several cubes.  I am trying another La Paz Co Arizona Chrysocolla.  Not very far into this one yet, so its too soon to tell if its any good.

I hope to get a little more work done in the AM before we leave.  We won't be able to get into our room at the Holiday Inn, Santa Ana Airport until 1 pm.  There is a lot of rearranging to do before we even unpack every thing.  Cross your fingers that its a good show.

Thanks for reading......;.
