A Quiet Day.

Its pretty low key here today. Its raining outside. No saws running. I haven't been able to hand grind the points off the Mexican Crazy Lace I finished cutting the points off yesterday.
I have managed to pull some material together for the sphere machines. I started a rough grind on a Norwegian Thulite Sphere. That is coming along nicely. I think it will be round tomorrow. I came across a Mexican Coconut Geode that I had started some time ago. I have that on the newest machine. We will see if I can finally figure out the tension adjustments. These consist of metal chains with springs in the middle of them. To move the cups in and out you have to loosen bolts, the cups up and down is adjusting the chains. UGH. I tend to end up with ovals and then have to hand grind them round.
The high speed machine has an African Tiger Eye on it. This one has a lot of blue with the yellow. Should look great when finished. Still working on the scratches at this point.
If it rains again tomorrow, I might just have to clean the house. :-(
