A Sigh.

What a relief! I finally finished the 2 Zebra Agate Sphere. I was beginning to worry that I would never get another completed. I had a moment of concern when I couldn't find any of the polishes.
Now I have gotten the hand grinder set up and was able to take the points off of 2 spheres, new material from north of Bishop, Ca, a Kaily Agate sphere, and a colorful Rainbow Ledge Jasper Sphere (that I don' even remember cutting.) The new material, Porcelain Rainbow Stone is layers of sky blue and bright yellow unlike anything I have seen. It will be interesting to see how it works up. There were a lot of fractures to work around....... The Kaily Agate will not be a huge sphere, He had only brought smaller pieces with him. I hope to get more in January.
Alan pulled what I was cutting out of the saws over the weekend, so now there is a wild patterned opalised serpentine from Australia and a cube of Dragon Skin Rhyolite. The third saw has been ear marked for slab cutting for the Apache Junction show in November. If it doesn't rain tomorrow that may all change.
Thanks for reading.......
