I am going to lose a day of preparation.  Saturday we are going to make a day run to Quartzsite.  I am Intrigued.

Going back to last years Pow Wow in Quartzsite, I meet a couple from Nevada that were there helping the wife of the man with the Bruno claim.  He had passed and his wife was going to do the show alone.  

Tom had spent several years as an apprentice of sorts learning the art of prospecting for rocks.  This year Tom is in Quartzsite with some of his finds.  What has caught my I is a material he is calling Pearsonite.  From Nevada, it looks to be a delightful array of colors and patterns of reds, golden browns and cream in a brecciated pattern.  Expensive stuff at a mere $30/lb but I have to see it in person.

This will also allow me to pick up my spiderman material from Phillipe S instead of waiting for Tucson. This boulder started out at 100 lbs but had a fracture.  What I will be getting is now under 40#.  Sigh.

So today iI will continue to decide what goes in the trainer  to be packed away for the Apache Junction show and what waits until we leave for the convention center show.  Crazy.
