Back Again.

We got back from the Prescott Valley show on Monday.  It was late in the afternoon and too hot to do much.

Yesterday I spent the early morning hours working on a Pearsonite sphere.  This morning I put it on polish.  I have yet to find what works.  This material is a bother.  I can't think of when I have had such difficulties with a material.  Tomorrow I will go back to 800 diamond to hopefully remove all the undercutting and try something else.  I am running out of options.

I managed to talk Bruce out of 2 more pieces of the copper in what appears to be serpentine.  He is pretty sure it is from Alaska.  It did take some schmoozing to get more of the material.  I am taking corners off the first cube.  The other half of the first rock is having sides cut to see how much copper will show.  It doesn't look real promising at this point.  The saws really dislike to cut this.  I have to sharpen the blade before each cut.  I hate to think how difficult it is going to be to hand grind.

Company from Wi coming tomorrow.  What to do with a great nephew when it is so hot?  I was vetoed for whale watching, not sure why.

Thanks for reading.....
