Back from Tucson.

We have returned from Tucson.  Mind boggling again.  The budget has been blown.  I am not even to sure of what I bought as a large portion of it is still there.

I do know I found some amazing Golden Amphibolite.  It is beautiful material that I have been able to get last year.  Similar but different is the Lion's Mane from China.  It is a gold tiger eye in quartz.  I suspect it will be a slow grind but well worth it.

I picked up more Coquina.  It is the gold shells in a red matrix.  This is my favorite color combo as the red really sets off the golden shells.

The Cherry Creek was spectacular this year.  It appears to be very agatized and not fractured.  I also snagged some black petrified palm root.  It has a beautiful pattern with white quartz.

There is the new moss agate out of Mexico that looks promising.  And of course I got a substantial thunk of Shattuckite to add to the pieces I bought in Quartzsite.  I had eyed this piece while there, but I couldn't see the price the dealer was firm on.  The price came down, so in the truck it went.

My sister Carla went with us.  I don't think see believes the number of crazy people there that do this.  It can be overwhelming the first time.  She says her favorite stop was the Tucson Rock Yard.  She got a big laugh with me crawling in barrels to move rocks.
