Back in Prescott

Yesterday I drove back to Prescott. Of coarse it was the long way around thru Quartzsite to pick up my rocks. I did manage to pick out another couple from Outback Mining that I hadn’t seen before. Wyloo Agate from the Western Australia. Not the most colorful of agates but has very interesting patterns in grey and white. It will be awhile before I have saws set up here to cut them, but I am excited!
I did well at the Flagg show. Sales were down from the previous year tho. Some of our group of 5 did so poorly that they will not return. :-(
Last night I could not get the new furnace to run. Good thing! The plumber was here changing out the galvanized piping and had installed the new hot water heater during the day. When I walked into the basement, there waas a major water leak. Bullet dodged, he was here in 10 minutes. I now have heat and water.
The kitchen cabinets arrive today. Unfortunately with the furnace out for that part of the house, the floors didn’t get finished for that part of the house. Hopefully soon.
Everything here seems to be taking much longer than expected. It finally does seem to be coming together. Need to get all the barrels of rocks here. The rest of the move will be easy after that. Still need the living room and master painted. They are awaiting on the floors. I don’t want to start and then interfer with the floors.
Alan is on his way to Sandiego for work. Will drive up for a long weekend. My “helper/handyman” should arrive from Ogden Utah at the beginning of next week. He will be changing a closet wall in the office closet to accommodate the washer and drier and get the floor board moldings replace. There is also all the dead trees to be removed. We will also be discussing where the saw shed will be going. I will be so excited o get the equipment here.
Thanks for reading........
