Back To Spheres.

We got the AC back at 8 pm last night.  Phew!  Only 28 hours after it died.  Thank you Extreme AC for fitting us in during the first heat wave of the summer.  Saturday night was brutal.

Now it is back to sphere grinding, at least for awhile.  (104 degree high today which means it will be 109 here.)  Still grinding the bad spot on the dead camel jasper sphere.  Just about the time I think I have it, 2 more little spots open up.  GRRRR.  Also there is the Indian Zebra Jasper.  This is a slow slow grind.  Now I know why I had only cut one before.

The Indonesian Petrified Palm sphere is also a slow grind.  This one has black eyes in a white matrix on top of the gold.  I think it will be impressive!

I have completed to round one Golden Amphibate sphere and have just started another.  There is also a third waiting to machine grind and one to grind the corners off.  The pattern on these is different than the first rock I cut.  Will be interesting to see how they turn out.

I am not sure if there will be any saw time today.  By the time I would normally start on a Sunday, it could be to hot to run the motors.  We shall see.

Thanks for reading......
