Back to Work

Back to work tomorrow.  As usual, not as much accomplished as I had hoped for.

The Chariot is turning out to be amazing.  Have Alan's Bday gift cubed and the first few corners cut.  I don't think I can get it finished by Wednesday but at least it is started.  I think he will be changing this one out frequently for bigger and better as time goes on.

Because the Chariot has taken longer than I expected, no cube of Red Lightening Agate has been cut.  :-(   The saw just doesn't like it.   Have started taking corners of 2 more Bumble Bee cubes. Have to keep the pipeline feed.

The Kaily Agate Spheres are completed.  Amazing that 2 spheres to share have turned into 8.  Hope to get together with John to divide them up.  Its cool that his article in Lapidary Journal re this material was printed just before I got the rock from him.  I do not think that he sells large pieces of the stuff.  It was a surprise that I was able to get the piece that I did in October.

The sphere machines have been busy.  Finished 2 NM Travertine that was brought to Tucson for me, a Hoplite sphere and another Chrysocolla sphere.  In the works are Bumble Bee spheres x3, a commission stone and a Malachite Sphere.  They were running all day.

Time to relax now.  Next day off is Saturday then back on for 3 more shifts.  UGH!
