The 24 inch saw is once again working! I was thrilled Ryan was here to help with the process. It allowed me to keep away from the frustration Alan gets when putting things back together. I just hid in the garage and kept my head down.
To celebrate the success, we started cutting the Indian Blanket we got in Tucson. With out knowing what we were buying, come to find out its not just a pretty rock. According to Rock and Gem, May 17, 2014, it should be considered a semi precious gem stone. Now I won't go that far, its not Chariote by any means. We will see if I have anything left to sphere after getting past the fractures.
The corners are off a cube on Sandy Mesa Jasper from the Cady Mountains. This piece looks really great so far, A nice dark red paisley moss. It too may have issues holding together. I will cross my fingers.
