Where has the last week gone?  I have been very busy in the shop.  Not much I can do in the house allows me to work as much as I can down stairs.  

I have finished the third Maw Sit Sit.  They have turned out stunning despite not being AAA grade material.  Unfortunately the price for that stuff is based on carat, not pound.  The price would be the same. 

The Specular Hematite with Chrysocolla and Malachite was a challenge.  The chrysocolla likes to "pop" out with the higher diamond cups.  I have solved my way around that without having to resort to any kind of stabilizers fortunately.  

I haven't manager to cube any Red Green Rhyolite yet but am getting close.  Hopefully this week.  I think I might be able to use the drop saw with it

Sucks only having 2 saws running.  I am cutting more hematite and hope to get started on more Parrot Wing.  Being Sunday, no outside noise makers today.  Sound ordinances, Hmmmm. Trying hard not to annoy the neighbors.

Our next Grand Canyon River trip is only 2 weeks away.  The million dollar question:  What will the weather be like this time?  We have had high heat of 120's, cold and rain with temps never much above the 55 degrees the river is.  Memorial weekend this year they had snow.  Should be interesting.
