April was an interesting month.  We spent 2 weeks in glorious Hawaii and I have not been able to get back into the swing of things.

Of course it doesn't help that a wild fire started shortly after we got back.  The fire is burning in the Prescott National Forest.  We spent 2 days helping friends fire wise their property in Groom Creek just south of us.  Their trailer is now here along with many of their belongings.  It has also meant we have had houser guests for 2 weeks.

Last week, as the fire threatened Ponderosa Park, we spent a day assisting another couple.  My downstairs room is now filled to the gills with belongings.  Amazing that we can still walk through there to get more wine!  Hopefully the 40 mph winds expected today do not spread the fire further.

Wednesday we leave for the West Coast Gem and Mineral Show that is back at the Holiday in -Airport in Santa Ana, CA.  It will be good to see the boys as they can both come.
