We just got home from a night of pizza, salad, and wine.  Lots of wine, at the home of our former mentors.  They have been gone for a number of years now.  The estate is finally being settled after family issues.  One of the daughters and grandson are at the house removing the last of the furniture and getting ready for the house to go up for sale.

It was difficult.  Sad.  We had such amazing times with this couple.  Our kids grew thinking they had 3 sets of grand parents.  The boys spent more time roaming the desert than quality time with either of their natural grandparents.

It may be the wine talking: I am very sad.  Some people are just to great to let them go.
