I was so excited with the way the African Tiger Eye was coming along.  All I saw was the beautiful gold and blue.  Even checking under magnification, I didn't see them.  Imagine my disappointment when I download the photos for this site and all I see is scratches.  I immediately grab the magnifying glass and look at it under the kitchen light, no scratches.  I retook all the photos and there they are.  My next step is magnifying glass with the light I use for photographing and there they are.  Moral of the story:  I need to take pictures at each set and enlarge them on the computer to check for scratches.

I did get one of the 24" saws cleaned today.  The oil was thick like gelatin.  UGH.  It does cut much better with clean oil.  

Tomorrow I need to start getting ready for packing.  It is always difficult for me to decide what to take.
