Busy Day

I finished the 5th preform of Australian Print Stone.  Messy messy stuff.  I then was required to clean the saw that I had been working them on.  This stuff is really soft.  You can not walk away from the sphere machine while running.  If it goes 3 xs in one direction, you have a rut.  The patterns are so unique that it makes it well worth the hassle.  If everything goes well, I will have 6 spheres!

In the other saws are some of the new Chrysocolla I just purchased from Bruce in Tucson.  This would turn out spectacular.  I have 2 cubes out of the first rock.  The larger boulder will hopefully give me 3-4.  I just love my blues and greens.

The Cryptic Passion, new from Australia, is going to be a long grind time.  It sure makes the saws sing.  I don't have a cube yet, but soon.

Still grinding away on 2 of the Grave Yard Point material.  Once I get one more finished I will start the polishing phase of the Carrasite and the one Grave Yard I have round.   These materials sure have taken a really long time to work the flat spots.  I have several in various stages of rough grind.  Will take another month at least.

The weather is cold and damp.  Glad to have the fireplace going.
