Cold Night In Phoenix!
Posted by Bev Darby, Rock n Spheres on 12th Feb 2019
We are overnighting outside of Phoenix. didn’t plan well for night time temps on 34. Woke up with a very cold nose and Alan huddled next to me. Should have turned on the furnace in the trailer before we went to bed. Alas it was a nice snuggle time until nature called.
Today we head back to Tucson. We will drop off the trailer, then head over to the convention center for registration. A third of the inventory is in the trailer, too much weight to have it all in the truck and pull the trailer. We will have a major reorganization to do before Ryan’s flight lands of else he will have to sleep on top of sphere boxes. I am sure we have way too much inventory along for our 10 x 20 foot space. After this show it all goes to Prescott.
I am excited to see the new room we will be in. There will not be as many dealers in it as were in the arena. I am glad we will not have to stand over an ice based floor. No matter how much covering, I think the cold from the ice would come through. (TGMS moved us from the arena to a ballroom because the convention center was not going to thaw the ice from the hockey game that was during the week.)
Registration today, set up on Wednesday and then let the show begin. If you are in the area, stop by and say hello.
