Copious Notes.

I make copious notes on all the new material I work. And then if the subsequent spheres work up differently, I make notes on that too. So why did I not check my notes while starting to work this Dead Camel Sphere? Hmmm. I was able to get rid of the scratches by using 220 grit instead of diamond, but now the rough area that has been so problematic is back. I have decided to keep working forward and see what happens.
The Golden Amphibolite I just finished worked up like the first one. This third one is very different. The first 2 were from different rocks, but this one is the same as the second one completed. I will have to get creative to get it finished.
I have not been to the saws in weeks do to the excessive heat. There is still a long line of spheres ready to get finished on the high speed machine. The need to keep it feed is not very strong. Too hot to work out there.
Next two show are both in August. My birthday weekend we will be at the Prescott Valley Gem and Mineral show. Two weeks after that we will be in Flagstaff at a show. Both are new shows for us, so deciding shat to take is always a challenge. It will be a busy month. We have company from home coming between the 2 shows.
Thanks for reading.....
