We leave tomorrow to take the inventory to Ryan who is graciously going to do the Culver City show for us.  Monday we fly to Vegas where we pick up our group and fly to Marble Canyon to start our white water rafting trip. This is our 3rd trip and probably our last.  It is just so spectacular!

The saws are shut down and enclosed.  The deck outside of the kitchen will be gone and hopefully a new one almost completed.  On the ground floor will be the new home for the saws.  There will be enough room for all 4 in one space.  How exciting!  Even the drop saw can fit.  Thanks Richard!

Micheal comes back on Monday night.  We might even have an enclosed laundry area!  Things are slowly coming together.  the kitchen is complete too.

The Specular Hematite with the Chrysocolla and Malachite has proven to be a real challenge.  Out of the 5 cubes I cut, one is spectacular, one is good and one is so so.  The other 2 might not end up finished unless I can figure out a way to get beyond the small crystal fractures that keep popping out.  Finger nail polish is not doing it and neither is option.  As those are my go to remedies, these 2 might just end up on the shelf of shame.

My goal when I get back is to figure out how to get the same polish on the red green blanket rhyolite that Alan is able to get on the cabs.  GRRRRR.  It is upsetting when his polish is better than mine.

I received an interesting phone call from a friend today.  She had been contacted by the Payson Az club to please convince me to do their show in September.   I guess........  Had been thinking of keeping my shows at 7 for the year.  I need to focus on getting spheres made of the material from Tucson this year.
