Distracted!

I am very distracted.  The winds are not as bad today.  Our power came on last night around 9 pmafter being powerless for 13 hours.  Yesterday was unproductive.  Most of the day was sitting in the jeep listening to the news of the 3 fires that were burning.  The other portion of the day was driving to see if DWP had started on any of the trees that had taken down power lines.

First thing I did this morning was turn on the news to check on the fires in Ventura, Sylmar and Valencia.  At 0500 they started talking about the fourth fire in the Santa Monica mountains in the Sepulveda Pass.  Looking out the patio, I can see the orange glow on the mountains.  Resources are stretched too thin and the winds are too strong for fixed wing.  Just makes me sad.

I have been able to start the saws up.  Am working the prep for cubes of Apache Gold and Sonora Sunrise.  For corners we have a bumble bee cube and a Norwegian Thulite.

Have been able to get a Charoite sphere, #2 Peruvian Chrysocolla and an Indian pPaint Rock polished.  The Pietersite is still being a challenge.

Stay safe all!  Thanks for reading.........
