Down to 2 Saws.

Once again it looks like I have burned out another motor. This time it is on one of the 18 inch saws. GRRR! Alan will take a closer look at it today, but I am not very hopeful. The newer 24" saw should get its new blade by mid week. How I can manage to bend a saw blade so badly is beyond me.
The Plasma Agate Sphere I finished yesterday is a very nice blend of the gem green with the egg shell blue. I particularly like how the brown swirls through the sphere. I was able to send off the custom Ludlow Thulite sphere for the woman in Costa Mesa. I hope her daughter likes her gift.
Crossing my fingers that the Lepidolite sphere will finish today. Shouldn't take too much longer unless something unexpected happens. Unlike the last material I cut, this has the white sprays running through it. The purple Lepidolite is also 2 shades.
A custom Jade is taking forever to get round. This is not my favorite material to work. Hopefully Roger's material is better than what I have worked in the past.
Today I have several spheres to hand grind. The Argentinian Fluorite should work up quickly. There is another Indian Paint Rock (Death Valley material) and the CrystalBaryte from England. They aren't kidding when they call this material "Dreamcicle".
The other Death Valley Indian Paint Rock is still giving me a challenge. It will go back to rough grind today. Grrr.
I still am working the Swedish Eudialyte that I picked up in Quartzsite. I do not have a cube yet. It looks to be pretty amazing. The new Norwegian Thulite is just sitting waiting it's turn.
The tree is up, the decorations look stunning, This week I will start baking. We have to figure out when we can get Lefsa made. Ryan is my roller for this, it will depend on when he can be here. Still think I should be able to bring a sphere machine into the house. It would make baking and sphering so much easier.
