Finished pieces for the week ending 10-25-14

Busy week.  I was finally able to finish my Shattuckite Sphere after 90 hours of grinding to get it round.  The colors are eye popping.  Once again, why did I only by 1 piece?

Another long grinding piece finished this week is a green Moss Agate Sphere.  It took so long to get this 1 round I lost track of time.  I really like the white splash of material that is center in the sphere.

I picked up some old stock Parrot Wing Jasper in Tucson in January that now is all cut.  I finished the third sphere of that material also this week.  Attractive greens, whites and browns show nicely.

In the pipeline are a few Mookaite Jasper spheres, a small Indian Paint Rock sphere and way in the back is some Black Jade with Magnesite that is currently in the saw.

Until next time…….
