Had a flu shot on Tuesday. I am crossing my fingers that today I will not have fevers and joint pain. Ugh!
Still I was able to complete my clean up from the JT show. I only washed the slabs I will be taking to Whittier this weekend, but still that was a lot of slabs. Last night we had boxes of spheres covering the living room floor deciding which ones to take. Probably picked way more that we will have room for, but it is finished.
Today is a hand grind day. There are 2 Wingate Pass Plume spheres ready. It is a hard material and will take awhile. Alan has been making a cube on another Rhodocrosite and am working on cubes of Amazonite. I think I will cut the Stichtite next.
Still working the Candy Rhyolite to round. This is as hard as any Jasper I have worked. It should take a beautiful polish. There are a couple of Wolfe rocks waiting to go on. I want to get these three finished before the West Coast show in November.
Already mid month and only one sphere completed. What a lagger I have been. Time to get busy!
