Getting There.

Still no word on when the parts for the 24" saw will be here. Sigh! I have found some cubes that were cut before the move though. The corners are all cut on what should be a 4" Marston Ranch replacement wood and a smallish Mexican Crazy Lace Agate, possibly Jessite or Kaily. Hope to get a chance to hand grind in the morning before it gets too hot.
In the 2 remaining saws are an African Tiger Eye cube and a Fire mountain cube, both having the corners cut. I am just not finding much to cube that will fit in the 18" saws. :-( I think I did find some Mariposite that might fit. Will have to see. The unfortunate thing is that the cube will probably be for a 3" sphere. I keep looking at the large boulder I have of it and have no way to cut it.
I think the only way to solve this challenge is to get another 24" saw. You can imagine Alan's glee at the thought of getting another old saw for him to work on..........NOT.
The Mexican Coconut Geodes look about the same as when I put them on the sphere machines 2 days ago. That is why they never get finished in one trip to the machines. Still, they serve a purpose to occupy my time until all is back up and running.
