Gotta Love it!

Just got a text from my son Ryan.  He is on a connecting flight from Orange Co to Tucson via San Francisco.  The observant one writes, “Best flight ever!  Five suits on the plane with briefcases handcuffed to their wrists.  I am sitting next to one in first class.  Upgrades rock!”

We arrived late this morning.  Parked the toy hauler and off we went.  We did a quick walk through Kino.  Alan managed to talk me into some vey expensive Polar Jade.  It is from British Columbia and is mined out.  I also got a chunk of Boot’s black Jade.  Interesting looking stuff.

No more Soecular Hematite or Golden Amphibolite this year.  Would have liked to pick up more of each.  Stopped by RhodoCo.  Do to health issues, Jose is liquidating.  It makes me very sad!  Then off to The Tucson Rock Yard.  Bruce left the things he had picked out for me in Phoenix but I just had to have some more Parrot Wing.  It was getting late so I am sure we will be back.  I run a tab with him until the end of the show.

I am hoping to find the Maaligano Jasper I have been reading about.  It is a new find from Sulawesi, Indonesia.  I have been informed that I have boulders of a new material called Red Green Blanket set aside for my consideration.  I understand it is a rhyolite but do not yet know its source.  This year there may be larger pieces of Turkish stick agate.

After all of that the next few days will be in search of new materials I have not heard of before.  Such fun!  As always I wish my bankroll was larger!

Thanks for reading........
