I Know What I Said....

I know I said I was going to keep that darn Dead Camel Sphere running until it was round.  After 12 hours grinding yesterday and another 8 hours today, there is still one very small spot of red finger nail polish.  I just can't believe how tough this rock is!  Maybe by the weekend it will be round.

That being said, I now have a line up of spheres waiting to go on the high speed machine.  Australian Crazy Lace, English Barite and a Lapis Lace are all round and ready to go.  Alas, not so for the Carrisite.  I think this will be another like the Dead Camel jasper.  Super hard!  There is another Australian Crazy Lace almost round and a Peruvian Chrysocolla waiting for cups to be available.

We are still a saw down.  Ran around looking for a larger belt.  In the end ordered it one line.   Grrr!

I will grind a 4" Noble Serpentine tomorrow.  This one has an interesting wormy pattern to it.  There is a Mexican Crazy Lace waiting for it's corners to come off too.   This material looks really great.  I thought I had cubed a Squirrel Tail Stromatolite, can't seem to figure out where I put it.  May need to breaking the other boulder.

I keep walking by all the really amazing rocks I got this year.  Can't wait to cut them all!
