We leave again on Monday for the Joshua Tree Gem and Mineral Show.  Proceeds from this show go to support a battered women's home in the area.  Love the people at this show.  Such fun!

It is an outdoors show.  The weather can be brutal with high temperatures and strong winds.  Always a challenge to keep your tents up.  Not a show for the faint of heart.  

Alan will drop me off and then go off to work in LA.  It is wind down time for him with only 2 more weeks to go.  I can't wait for his official retirement!

Working on some tire track jasper from Australia.  Almost have the corners off 2 cubes.  The big saws have Petrified palm and a new Chrysocolla from Mexico.  I need to get the drop saw running when we get back.  Not much to rough grind on the sphere machines.  

After JT my next show in just before Thanksgiving.  Am looking forward to a stretch where I can get some spheres made.
