Lagging

It has been awhile.....
Everything seems to go hectic this time of the year. We got back from our 3 shows in a row mid November. The temperature change from sunny California to cold weather here in Prescott resulted with both of us getting sick. Even Alan who never gets sick! Multiple covid tests later, it was not covid. We kept expecting it since we have not had it yet.
Back to the goodies I have been working on. I seem to be on a fossil kick. I purchase the aPaleo Osmunda material in January. Had only gotten one made which sold immediately in Denver. It was the first sale of the show and the buyer had seen the video on Instagram. Easiest sale ever!
I am working up the rest of that material and hope I can score more in Quartzsite. The seller wasn't to keen on me buying it. Go figure.
This summer I got Turritella, a fossilized shell from Wyoming. So far it looks like it will act similar to the peanut obsidian. The shells want to pop out. It will be interesting to see if the second cubes acts the same way. In the end this material might be a bust.
I have cut the first cube of Crinoid Marble. Love the pastel pink amount the shells of the material. It looks really solid and should take a great polish.
We are decorated for the holidays and baking will begin the end of this week. Happy Holidays....
