Last 2 Sets!

Finally down to the last 2 sets of PVC pipe cups for polishing. It has surprised me how long this has taken. Hopefully with the better bevel on the cups, polishing times will be shortened. We shall see.
While Alan is busy bringing home the paycheck, I have started cutting some of his precious Tiffany stone. Stuff has cost me dearly over the years and he has been very resistant to cutting it. I have one cube with the corners being removed and almost have another cubed. Yipee. See what happens when you refuse to retire.
I have cut 2 cubes of Noble Serpentine. This works up relatively fast and is popular. Still have half of a boulder to cut and another with black in it. That happens to be another Alan choice. I think I had better wait a bit before cutting it.
I just finished a cube of Ruby in Fuschite and now have started a Ruby in Ziosite. This on was partially cut, not sure why I didn't finish it. I do hope it works up as nicely as the Fuschite.
It does feel like it will rain again. Unusual for May, but I will take every drop we can get. That is why I did my grinding early this AM. The Indian Zebra Jasper will be another that will have a slow grind on the machines. This stuff really does look like zebra, unlike much of the Australian material that has that name. Then there is another Desert Storm/WaveDolomite. My supply of these spheres is low and I found several more boulders that I had misplaced.
My next project for today is to clean up the high speed machine. I had tried to grind cups on it. All it did was spit the grit all over the place. Both other machines will need a spit polish after having used grit. I'll be ready once my new brand of polishes arrive!
