Learning Curves

I have decided I am not a patient person. I have been reminded of this every time I get a new piece of equipment. My latest is a forming machine that I ordered in January and was delivered in December. The machines that are tried and true make marbles, 2.5 inches in diameter and less, I course that is not what I do. Instead of waiting for the next generation for larger sphere, up to 4 inches in diameter, I talk John and Sherman into selling me their prototype. Inpatient example of huge consequences.
So I now have this machine to be the test user on. Not being patient, I boldly go where no one has gone before. I have not broken it yet, which is saying alot since when I got their high speed sphere machine, I figured out how to do that in many different ways. Being told it is very simple and self explanatory is just not so. I expect some day soon they will begin to start blocking my calls.
In the mean time, my frustration is high when I cannot get the rocks to stay in the machine. (At least this one does not spit them at you when your back is turned or worse yet, toss the rock through the garage door window. Don't tell Alan, he doesn't know about that one.) When I do manage to get a form completed, it is truly a wonderful thing. I then do a "happy dance" around the garage.
