Lofty Plans

I finally have a full day off.  Many things are lined up for today.  I have already polished up 4 spheres.  2 are that gorgeous Blue Calcite/ Blue Onyx Spheres.  I will have gotten a total of 9 spheres from thee one boulder I was able to purchase.  Sizes will range from 3.7 inches in diameter to about 2.3 inches.  Still have 5 smaller ones to finish.

The Sumatra Jasper Spheres will hopefully get round today.  Of the 2 boulders that I got, these are from the ones that have black mixed in with the orange.  I expect them to be very showy when done.  Once that does happen I will have a batch of larger spheres to work through the process.  It will include a Rocky Butte sphere, Indian Fancy Jasper sphere, African Turquoise Sphere and a Jasp-Agate sphere from Central Ca.   I do not expect to get to polish any of these today, but one can always hope.

On the forming machine will be small Blue Calcites, a Marra Mamba Sphere and an Autumn Jasper sphere.  These will all be under 2.5 inches in diameter.

I still have the other Sumatra boulder in the 24" saw.  It is not happy!  The smaller saw is taking corners off a Cherry Creek Jasper sphere.  The mmiddle saw is just not cutting anything today.  Will need to bribe Alan to take a look at it.

Those are my lofty goals for today.  As always, I never seem to get as much done as I hope for.

Thanks for reading.
