Long Day!

The saws are going to need a cleaning soon. That means I left the house at 05:30 this morning to run out to Joshua Tree to get oil. It saves a boat load on shipping! Each 24" saw uses 25 gallons and it comes in 5 gallon buckets. Shipping is expensive. That means 10 buckets will get me through a clean of all of them once I recycle as much as I can.
This is also a rock dealer that always looks for amazing rocks for me. He has seldom chosen wrong. That means the Bumble Bee he got in Tucson was sitting there waiting for me. Also that gorgeous Moroccan Apple Valley Agate. Morocco has a Jasper that looks a lot like Willow Creek Jasper but is grey with a hint of green. I did control myself on this one and stuck with just one 50 pound boulder. There was another that looked amazing too, but 110 pounds is too much for me to lift. I am also excited to get more of the Graves Mountain, Ga, Blue Diamond Lapis.
Alan said I wasn't going to buy more rock until I had cut all the types I got this year....... Well he was at work! TeeHee. When I called him on my way home, he knew something was up. At least he had several hours to get used to the idea.
In the end, my3.5 hour trip home ended up taking 5 hours. I really dislike LA traffic. They really can't use street sweepers in the middle of the night when there is no traffic?
Thanks for reading.....
