Monsoon Season

We got our first experience of Monsoon season yesterday.  The rain was very impressive.  Even more was the thunder and lightening!  It is crazy when you see the flash, the power goes out and then hear the thunder.  I have forgotten how fun thunder storms can be.  Living in Southern California for so many years, it has been a long while since I had experienced that kind of light show.  It is supposed to go on all day today.

I do need to pack up the truck today.  (In the rain).  Tomorrow is set up for the Prescott Gem and Mineral show happening at the convention center in Prescott Valley.  This is the largest show in northern Arizona and is a fun show.  It starts on Friday and goes through the weekend.

Progress on the saws new home has slowed.  We have decided to enclose the area under the new deck before the saws are moved.  Therefore no new material has been cut to my dismay.

I am working on Parrot Wing that I was able to cut before moving the drop saw.  This stuff is crazy with Chrysocolla.  The various hardnesses are giving me a challenge.  I hoped to have them finished for the show but doubt it will happen.

Shadow is adjusting nicely to his new home.  His name still fits as he follows me where ever I go.  Separation anxiety is still an issue.  Having workers here helps so I can at least go grocery shopping.  He hates water!  Hides if you turn on the garden hose, refuses to go out in the rain.  He needs a bath badly, but I don't know how I will be able to get that done without freaking him out completely.  We go to the vet today.  Hopefully the rest of his lab tests will be back.  Pending was still for Valley Fever.  If positive, he will not have as long of a life span.

Thanks for reading.....
