More Rock!

Haha.  I need more rock!  Not really, but when the opportunity arises, I go for it.

I just received the Namibian Shattuckite from Jeff.  It is still sitting on the front porch.  I do need to move it around back.

Bruce is going to his warehouse in Tucson this week and I just placed an order with him.  I have the one Maw Sit Sit sphere left but think I would like to make more.  Then there is the Red Sage.  I had only gotten enough for 2 spheres originally because I didn't know how it would turn out.  I haven't had any Wild Horse for years and he said he would part with some (finally).  We talked about several others so I will be surprised when we go down next week.

Tomorrow I will grind the Chariot preform.  It looks to be a beauty.  It should end up just under 4 inches in diameter.  The Magnetite in Had from Stoddard Wells, Ca should be ready for it's rough grind by Thursday.   I am almost finished with a cube of Phosposideride.  Such a lovely lavender, but not sure yet how it will hold together.

I finally got Alan to help get my last boulder of Specular Hematite with Chrysocolla and Malachite into the big saw.  The bugger was really heavy!  I believe it is over 100#.  So far it looks nice and solid.  It should make beautiful spheres.

In the rough grind stage I have a Turkish Stick Agate, and a Chrysocolla.  Surprising long grind for the Chrysocolla.  Should take a great polish.  I am hoping to polish the Tiffany Stone (again).  After the last time I found a flat spot I had previously missed.  It had to go back to the very beginning.  The other high speed machine is working a chrysocolla.

Yesterday I made cinnamon bread for Alan so didn't get much completed.  I should be back in full gear this week.
