Mucking and Calendar.

The big challenge for today is to muck out the new saw. UGH. The oil in it stinks to high heaven. Not a job I will look forward to. Haven't begun the elaborate set up to do this yet. Just finished laundry and baking the pumpkin for multiple loaves of bread. Its a good thing I am an early riser.
The Richardson's sphere machine is not too different than the new slow machine being made from Highland Park. I am not real fond of having to use a wrench to loosen bolts before I can move the plates. It is a slow machine, like my first one. Now I will have 2 to feed into the medium machine. When I need to polish, it won't slow the pipeline down. I think its all about keeping the pipeline fed.
I would like to try and get my production up to 30 spheres a month. Not sure if that is a possibility or not. Lots of shows coming up and if this ever does take off like crazy, I need to be prepared. November has 2 shows back to back, West Coast Gem and Mineral Show starting on the 11th, then, the Apache Junction club show the following weekend.
The 2017 calendar is getting filled up. January has the Flagg show in Mesa, AZ and the Pow Wow in Quartzsite. February is Tucson to buy and then the Apache Junction spring show. March is at the LA Arboretum. April is at Joshua Tree. May back to the West Coast show, June to the Federation show in Ventura, CA. July will be at Culver City. August and September I will have a reprieve only to start up with Joshua Tree,& Whittier in October and then finish out the year with the West Coast and Apache Junction shows. Yikees!
