In January I picked up an expensive piece of Pietersite to make one large sphere out of.  This sphere has been a huge challenge.  It has a quartz spot that has refused to give up its scratches.  I have been working on this on and off for months now.

I may have finally conquered them!  Time will tell, but after 400 diamond for hours and hours I have now moved on to 800 diamond.  The final question will be if I can make it through to 8000 diamond without them returning.
