One week ago Alan talked me into a visit to the Yavapi Humane Society.  We all know how that goes......

We now have Shadow, a mix of Catahoula and Terrier.  Severely under weight, GI issues, separation anxiety and kennel cough, I think he is a true rescue.  He is a true shadow, following me every where I go.  Mornings and evenings are long walks allowing us to meet our neighbors.  Shadow is a real ice breaker with his whippet like body and brindle coloring.

The deck is still a work in progress.  I do hope to get the saws moved under it by the weekend.  I managed to get to the drop saw yesterday to get some parrot wing started.  I have to say this material is much harder than the previous material I had purchased.  Both are on the rough grind stage yet and have a way to go.
