No Shows.

Since it does not look like we are going to have any shows any time in the near future, I have decided to put more polished specimens on the web site. All though they were not polished by us for the most part, the price point is such that they may be of interest to those who might like a specimen of that material but con not afford a sphere. I am trying to decide if I want to do the same with some of the larger amethyst pieces I have.
That being said, Ryan has forced us to break out the flat laps and get them running. He sits in the basement while "working from Home" and is watching them. They take a lot of babysitting. It should be interesting to see if he manages to get any completed before they leave. He is working some large pieces of Bumble Bee and Marra mamba that should be spectacular. since there is no room in the sphere room, once he is gone the laps will end up going back into the shed.
I am still grinding away at the Carrasites. Such a long grind time for this material. I have preforms waiting af the Pink Lady from Grave Yard Point ready to go. The saws have Cripple creek in them being cut into cubes.
About the Cripple Creek, It is a combination of a dark grey/blue combined with a sand stone appearing material. Both look to have amazing patterns in them. I will attempt to get a few spheres that contain a combination of both. There will also be ones (I hope) that consists of either all blue or all brown. We share see how it works out. When making spheres, you don't always get what you hoped for.
Happy Holidays,
