I have not touched a rock all weekend!  I know, that is unusual.  Circumstances dictated it.

Friday late afternoon started the whole snowball effect.  I received a call from my 89.75 year old after-in-law saying he would be arriving in 2 hours.  Now keep in mind he lives in Tucson and his wife won't let him drive there any more.  Go figure.  Its okay to drive 8 hours into LA traffic, but not drive in Tucson......

That started me running around, changing bed sheets, moving rocks off the kitchen counter.  Not what I had planned....  He did take us out to dinner.

That set me off for Saturday.  Too rich food the night before.  Need I say more.   Alan used the time when I was unavailable to go buy a new Jeep.  Took him all day at the dealer.  I was glad I didn't have to go along.

Because of the engine break in, today we had to drive the beast 300 miles.  That is the recommended milage that you do not go  over 55 mph.  It takes a long time to drive 300 miles when you are only going 55.  The goal was also to figure out what all the buttons and gizmos are for.  That didn't go so well.  I do know how to turn it on and make it go forward and backwards.  

Tomorrow I hope to get back to my rocks.....
