One More Day Off.

Tomorrow is the last of my 3 days stretch off. I plan on only working rocks if all things in the universe align. The house is decorated and the tree is up.
The only thing that may interfere is Barkley, the dog. When you are a Purebred Lab you think that the world revolves around you. Particularly when you are months shy of turning 17 years old. Every event is now an emergency requiring long hours at the vets. Once the tail stops wagging.......
Did get some cutting accomplished today. Taking the corners off a Chinese Petersite. This has very nice patterns. Will be interesting to see how it finishes up. Have hand ground the tips off a second Hemimorphite. Also have ground one of the Bert's mystery rocks. Looks suspiciously like Ballarat ghost town marble. The patterns are more interesting than the material we collected. The deciding factor will be to see how it works up on the machines.
The story of my life seems to be waiting for a parts delivery. Hope to have it before my next stretch off so I can actually finish something.
Thanks for reading.....
