We are slowly getting back to normal in this house.  Covid sucked!  Besides the physical symptoms, dealing with Alan's death from it was tough.  

I have been able to spend more time in the shop of late.  One of the things I did while on rest was buy a small core drill for soft materials.  It appears that it will stream line certain materials.  Still have challenges to figure out, but we are getting there.

We do have one 24" saw down.  Unfortunately one of the spare parts isn't going to work so am waiting on the replacements for the whole mechanism.  The other has some very interesting jasper from Brazil that I got in Tucson.  It has 'eyes'.  I am excited to see how this will work up.

On the sphere machines are a variety of materials, hematite in jasper from Michigan, more crinoid marble, Wave dolomite, and green tourmaline in a grey matrix.  I plan to get some polishing completed this week yet.  There is still lots of uncut material from Quartzsite and Tucson waiting for their time in the saw.
