I have managed to actually finish some spheres!  I get so bogged down when I have to go back and forth working out problems with some material.  

Case in point:  I started the Pietersite in January.  Even worse is the Peruvian Chrysocolla, that was started last fall.  When my frustration level goes up, things end up sitting in the to do box.  So pleased to get these both completed.

The Argentinian Blue Calcite is a different creature all to gather.  This stuff does not like diamond in any form.  Its back to the old way with grit and plastic cups.  Takes awhile, but well worth it for the polish it eventually has.

There is nothing round now to go on the high speed machine.......  That is always sad.  I hate to see it idle.  There a few things that are almost round.  I might just get them going in the morning.  

Wednesday is pack up day for the West Coast Gem and Mineral show in Santa Ana.  Unfortunately it doesn't look like Alan will be there at all.  :-(  Good thing Ryan lives close by.  He will be taking Thursday afternoon off to help with the setup.
