I took a morning off from the sphere machines yesterday to hand grind the Chrysocolla in quartz preforms from the big boulder we had previously hammer drilled.  I was getting tired of not getting anywhere on the last 2 Grave Yard Point dots.  Can I say in 6 hours of machine time I was able to get all 4 ground to round?  I can say there is not a problem with my cups, but that the Carrasite and Grave Yard Point are really hard materials.

One Grave Yard has a dot that is smaller than the tip of a pen.  If I had not marked it at the beginning, I would miss it. It may take 3 more days to get  it ground off.  The other Grave Yard point has days of grinding to destroy the 2 remaining spots.  I am looking forward to working on some spheres that will go to the web site.!
