Really needed another 150 pounds of rock!

Just got back from Joshua Tree.  175 miles one way.  The last 15 were on washboard dirt roads.  The trip was well worth the 7.5 hours it took with traffic.  (Of coarse I will be there next week for 6 days.)

The Bumblebee Jasper was well worth the trip in itself.  It is very different from the other material I have.  The colors are so vibrant it is hard to believe they are real.  I am going to cross my fingers and hope the saw will cut it.  72 pounds might be a little over the size for the 24" which is still not working at top efficiency.

The Plume Agate from Mexico does not show me much yet.  I have put one piece into the smaller 18" saw.  I will have to figure out how to get the best plumes out of it.  I think I may have gotten material with more black plumes than the yellow, but the larger pieces didn't show much yellow.

Anyway, my butt feels like it is on fire from sitting so long.  For driving distances alone, you just don't get to squirm much.

Thanks for reading......
