The current events have saddened me.  I was relieved that they took place far enough away that my work place was not affected.  For the last 2 mass shootings in Los Angeles, I have been in charge.  It is extremely draining.  The emotional toll for the caregivers at Loma Linda must be huge.  Remember them along with the victims and their families.
