Yesterday the washer and dryer were setup.  The day was spent doing weeks of laundry.  I never thought the highlight of my day would be to do laundry.  Simple things you take for granted that make one happy.

Currently I am working on a large Jade sphere.  I know why I stopped working on it years ago.  It is larger than I am normally comfortable with.  Also Jade takes longer times on the machine.  It should end up over 4.5 inches in diameter when done.  

There are several large spheres.  A Picasso marble, many Septarian nodules.  I have gotten them round.  I am thinking I will need to go the next size cup up to finish them.  I should just go ahead and order them now.  

We found out yesterday what it will take to put up a saw shed.  The city has interesting codes re placement.  We won't need a building permit, but are required to get a lot survey, and a site permit.  This lot has not been surveyed since 1949.  It makes me wonder how they were able to do all the additions to the house that were done.  I feel like we might be opening a kettle of worms..........

Alan is going back to LA next week for work.  This part time stuff is a pain and I will be glad when it is finished.  6 more weeks to go and his replacement should be up and running.
