Skunk

This is the second morning in a row that I have startled out momma skunk when I opened the garage door to cool it off.  Once again the garage and the house stink to high heaven!  You would think by now she would be used to it.

I have been focusing on Sonora Dunrise baby Spheres again.  I want to get these done by the time we go to the Prescott Valley show in August.  There are so many of them, 17 in all.  Only 7 are completed.  Half will be mine.  Most of the ones left still need rough grind to make them round.   I think Bruce will be happy with my results.   It was very helpful that they were already cubed.

Still rough grinding on the Dead Camel sphere.   I just can’t seem to get rid on one small rough spot.   It is such a hard material!   I am determined to get this finished before I move on the other hard rocks.

I have 2 more Indonesian Petrified Palm sphere that are out by the saws.  The coloring on these 2 are very different than the previous 2 I have made.  They will be a slow grind also.

It sounds like the bearings have gone out on one of the 24” saws.  I haven’t told Alan yet.  He will not be happy.  Oh well, that’s what he gets for being my handyman.  LOL.
