Slow Week.

Still have things in the truck that need to come out.  I have been slow on unloading everything.  The weather's gotten hot.  That slows me down even more.

I am very happy with the Shattuckite sphere I finished yesterday.  The still photos do not do it justice.  The play on colors coming of the brown is spectacular.

Next to finish is another Tiffany stone sphere.  This one is much smaller than the last.  It has pink in it besides the purple and is very different than the last.

The darn Moroccan Wave Jasper has one small round spot on it.  It is taking a really long time.  I am crossing my fingers that it is worth the time spent grinding.

Also on the grind is a small Picasso Marble and the Carrisite.   The Carrisite has sand spots that I am trying to figure out if they are getting larger or not.  I hate to think it will need to go in the reject bin.........

There is a multitude of spheres ready to hand grind.  I just keep adding to the pile.  Ryan is coming home this weekend and I am hoping I can get hime to work on some of the larger ones.

In the saws are some pet wood I brought back from the Federation show.  This is material from the Steve Wolfe collection.  I am wondering what I have gotten myself into by agreeing to this.  Also there is Mexican Crazy Lace and Noble Serpentine.

I had better get busy.  Thanks for reading.....
