TGMS Gem and Mineral Show, 2-13 through 2-16

With the TGMS show at the convention center in Tucson just around the corner, I should be busting my buns to get some of my new material worked up.  It isn't happening!  I can't seem to get more than 4 hours of play in no matter how hard I try..

I spent 2 full days cleaning the down stairs room off the garage.  This is my photo area.  When we moved the washer and dryer up stairs, the ceiling in the storage area had to be opened up to move pipe.  Well this was finally closed up and the sanding that took place permeated the whole area.  Fine dry wall dust is a pain to clean up.  So with this finally finished I have now set my photo shop back up.

The area where I do my hand grinding was dismantled before the tree trimmers came to work on the massive tree that dropped all the limbs on the house.  Today I will get that set back up.  There is a large pet palm and a tire track waiting to have its corners ground.  As a side note, the largest of the Ponderosa Pines on the neighbors house is going to be cut down.  The seasonal creek is undercutting the root system.  This just saddens me.  It is probably 300 years old.

Yesterday one of the 24" saws went down.  Bummer.  Not sure when those ordered parts will come in.  I expect it will be down for a month or more.  I ordered 2 of everything that I think might be wrong with it as I have 2 HP 24"  saws.

So much new material, so little time.....
