What do you take to a show when you only are going to have 8 feet of space?  It is a real problem when you have over 300 spheres.  This is what I am facing for this coming weekend at the Ventura Gem and Mineral Show at the Ventura Fairgrounds.  I stand and look at my containers of spheres and just shake my head!

I have only been able to run the saws for 4 hours today.  That is exactly how long the temperature has been above 50 degrees.  Less than that the oil is very thick and does not lubricate the blade very well.  Also, it is darn nippy out there with the wind.  Yes I know I am whining about the weather knowing many of you have it far worse for much longer than Southern California.  That is why I no longer live in the midwest!

Tomorrow I may be able to pick up my new drop saw.  Thanks to Bruce for turning me on to this great machine.  It should free up the large saws to cut the hard materials and allow me to work soft materials much faster.  I can't wait to see what kind of a learning curve this one will have.
